Missing someone sucks.
It’s even more shitty if it’s not reciprocated. And then what? It’s not like you were ever together! So you feel as though you don’t even have an excuse to feel sad. At least if you were in a relationship, you could say “I’m feeling depressed because we broke up.” But, you were never together. So what are you supposed to say? “I’m feeling depressed because this guy who I might have had a chance with, who I thought I had potential with turns out not to like me? I misread his signs, and I’m sad” just doesn’t sound very valid to feel what I’m feeling.
Love will come, sometimes when you least expect it!
Cranbrook, BC (a smallish town tucked in the Rocky Mountains) where Joel Robison lives seems like a magical place, not only do books and coffee cups come in reasonable sizes but also a whole universe of magical, whimsical and funny images for us to enjoy.
artisinmysoul asked you: Hello dear, I needed to tell you, that your poems are so moving, so inspiring. As soon as I finished reading the first one, I immediately fell in love with the way you place your words. They flow so easily, and so effortlessly to the next verse in a way that I can’t describe. I felt immersed in the words you wrote, and so many emotions. Your poems are phenomenal and I was hoping if you could, maybe write one for me, if you don’t mind. Perhaps the way artist thinks or feels.
Hi lovely, thank you so much for your poem request and touching words. I thought it was a really interesting concept you put forward. Here is what I came up with. Hope you like it. ♥
